Templates are pre-built Chat prompts you can fill in and run. They cover the workflows GetWhys customers run most often — building personas, drafting brand voice, testing positioning, planning content.

Opening templates

Click View all templates at the top of any new Chat. The template picker opens with categories on the left and individual templates on the right.

Categories

  • Create a persona — generate a buyer persona from a description
  • Test a persona — validate an existing persona against current market data
  • Buying Committee Involvement — map who’s involved in a software purchase
  • Stakeholder Involvement — understand each stakeholder’s influence
  • Customer Requirements and Use Cases — surface the most-mentioned requirements
  • Enterprise vs. Mid-Market — contrast evaluation criteria by company size
  • Buyer’s Journey — generate a buyer’s journey grid by persona and stage
  • Existing Brand Voice — translate existing brand guidelines into the GetWhys format
  • Infer Brand Voice — infer a brand voice from your homepage, blog, and social posts
  • Create Content — guided walkthrough that produces marketing materials based on real customer research
  • Plus topic discovery and stage-specific content templates
  • Competitive positioning, gap analysis, and competitor messaging templates

How to use a template

Open View all templates at the top of any new Chat, pick a template that fits your workflow, fill in the placeholder fields, and click Use Template to load the prompt into your input. Review it, edit anything that doesn’t fit your situation, and send. Templates are starting points, not scripts — adjust the prompt before sending if the default wording isn’t quite right.

Don’t see what you need?

If you’d use a template that doesn’t exist yet, ask GetWhys and we’ll add it. Reach out via Teams, Slack, Google Chat, or email [email protected] with the workflow you want to template.
